Get your Neil Young vibes on with this demo from Joe Pisapia. Given recent election events, it’s a fitting song.
John Davis – “Mountaintop (I’m a Goner)â€
Tomorrow is Election Day (doi) and John Davis is getting political with this 4-track recording courtesy of his High-Bias Operation. It’s a surprisingly upbeat number given the rallying cry for getting the fuck out of town after tomorrow’s results.

Volume 78
I honestly struggled putting together this podcast because the mix of genres really runs a wide gamut. From hip-hop to indie rock to post-apocalyptic electronic songs to bedroom rock to metal and more. It’s almost too much but the variety of it all is a proud reminder of how great “Country Music USA†really is.

Volume 78
An eclectic gathering of new(ish) music from the Nashville area. I’m extremely happy of how varied and genre spanning ole “Country Music USA” can actually get. This 30 minute set literally jumps from hip-hop to indie rock to dystopian electronic music to country music and metal. There was a time when no one would have ever expected that from us.

Ducko McFli – Larry
Loving this new “boom-bap beat tape†from Ducko McFli. If the first two tracks don’t grab you, stick with it and you’ll be hooked by the time “PK Ripper†hits!
Chill Witch - “Big Candyâ€
Immerse yourself in the latest electro jam from Chill Witch. There are record scratches, foreboding synths and literal witch laughs.. and it all works.
Boo Dudes – Spook `em All
Halloween weekend is upon us and what better soundtrack for the next 72 hours than Boo Dudes? Steer over to their Bandcamp to hear their latest spooky EP as well as dive into their catalog of good time ghoulish offerings.
How I Became the Bomb “Break Heartsâ€
At long last, the How I Became the Bomb video for “Break Hearts†is officially unleashed on the world. The lead track from the 2015 Adonis EP gets an incredibly ambitious and wonderfully executed video directed by David Shamban.Â
The Entity From Between Dimensions - Transdimensional Tricks and the Treat Which Lies Beyond
With song titles like “Ancient Transcendental Mysteries of the Witch Planet†and “Children Of The Dark Galaxy†you know you’re in for some seasonally appropriate music. It’s largely atmospheric but in the best, creepy, way. An excellent soundtrack for your haunted house or upcoming seance.

Shaboi – Curse Walk
Despite being released in 2009, Shaboi’s Curse Walk may be the best Halloween record you’ve never heard. Fire up your favorite streaming service and dive in.
Brooke Waggoner “Widow Maker (A Nice Afternoon Remix)â€
The second remix from the compilation of SWEVEN re-imaginations is a dark, jazzy reinvention of one of my personal favorites from the original album.Â
Bravemaker “The Many Paths Have Led Us Hereâ€
If you haven’t been listening to the regular output from Bravemaker lately, you’re really doing yourself a disservice.
