I’d like to start a new feature here on WOTT giving a bit of credit to artists that have moved here from other areas and now permanently reside here. Interlopers Made Good. It seems appropriate to start off said recurring column with The Ettes – the LA-trio with a bevy of great music videos and a solid discography. If you haven’t heard their latest, Wicked Will, cruise on over to Rdio or Spotify to check it out. There’s plenty of garage-inspired rock bands around town but The Ettes maintain a rather dark undertone to all their offerings – an excellent concoction of psychedelic dance-y songs and slit-your-throat-when-you’re-not-looking vocals.
