Ross Wariner, one of the principle members of Kindercastle, has a solo project entitled Uncle Skeleton and his debut album, Pancho Chumley was released today. I should say, in respect of full disclosure, that this is the first release from yk records – my own personal endeavor of attempting to get music out to the world that would otherwise go unheard. So, obviously, I think this album is quite good and should be heard by as many people as possible. The album is available as a high quality free download and as a limited edition CD; both of which are now on the market.
- Digital Download – entirely free high quality (320 kbps), DRM free download of the album. This may end up being a detriment to selling the 250 physical copies but I am honestly more interested in just having people listen to the album and enjoy it.
- Physical Release – limited run of 250 discs in high quality packaging at a low price of $5 (plus $1 shipping). If you’re going to convince someone to spend their money on a physical CD these days, it better be nice – so I’ve done what I can to put together a nice piece of packaging and I think you’ll agree it’s more than worth the cost.
There you have it – the full rundown. Please spread the word!
