I never thought I’d see the day but WRVU has given their site a complete facelift. Aside from the new look there’s also a new streaming webcam and forthcoming regular blog updates. You still need RealPlayer (or possibly VLC) to listen to the audio but at least you’ll be doing it while viewing a grand new site.

De Novo Dahl Ardent Sessions
Is it safe to say that De Novo Dahl are done? I’ve not heard from their camp in some time and Joel J. Dahl is embarking out with his new project so I’m going to assume it’s done? At least for now..
But allow me to focus for a moment. The point here is that it’s likely been some time since you’ve gotten a quality dose of the manic De Novo Dahl vibe. Fortunately The Ardent Sessions is here to fill that void. They’ve just unveiled their latest session featuring a full 45+ minute show from the group. There’s audio, video and some nice photos from the gig; so go check it out.
The Features Lake Fever Sessions
If you haven’t heard already, The Features recorded a Lake Fever Session and it will be debuting next Monday. Having been a fan of this band for roughly twelve years it goes without saying that I am excited. Next Monday all fanboy gushing will be divulged but until then, enjoy the teaser.

Volume 25
The very first We Own This Town podcast was kicked off by Ole Mossy Face and it only makes sense that the 25th installment of the podcast should be devoted to the Trey Deuce Club. While, musically, it’s a bit heavier leaning on the Americana and Western influenced stylings than the typical podcast fair it is the perfect embodiment of the mindset we love to see in the Nashville area. The Trey Deuce Club itself is a collective of musicians all writing together, playing in each others projects and cultivating support in general. Musicians making music together for the sake of making music; with a great community being created as a byproduct.
If you’re into what you’re hearing on this edition of the podcast be sure to drop by The 5 Spot on Friday (August 7th) to celebrate the release of the the Trey Deuce Club Vol. II compilation – featuring lots of new music from all of these artists. This podcast serves as an overview of some of the best of what they have to offer, the new compilation lets you in on the latest and greatest.
