Local institution Hammertorch have released Big Softies, for free, over at last.fm. You can download it with no strings attached right here. There’s really not a good reason why you shouldn’t do it, so please proceed.

Justin Kase, one of the hardest working local DJ’s best known for his Coach vs Kase nights at 12th and Porter (every Saturday), has started a new project called Fitout. He’s already posted two tracks over on his Bandcamp page – one a remix of Little Boots, one an original instrumental track – and I’ve got a feeling there’s plenty more where that came from. The best part, aside from the notion that someone in Nashville is doing good things with electronic music, is that the official release dates for the tracks are 2012 and beyond.
