New year, new podcast.. sort of. Since the December release of the podcast was devoted to wrapping up the year a few releases from the tail of our prior Earthly rotation were skipped over; an issue that I’ve tackled on this edition. As usual, this doesn’t cover absolutely everything out there but it is a nice sampling of the goods that I’ve encountered.

The 42nd edition is already in the works but if you’ve got music you’d like considered please don’t hesitate to send it in.

A Country Gentleman – “Drive Across America”

A Country Gentleman has decided to release their latest jam, “Drive Across America”, to the masses of the Internet for free. The man behind the boards, Jeremy Ferguson, foresees the track permeating sports culture and emitting from stadiums worldwide. ‘Anthemic’ you might say.

For anyone hesitant to snag the song based on what you’ve heard from the project previously feel confident in knowing that this is a departure from traditional country stylings of the previous two releases and way more entrenched in the rock onslaught you’d hear from the likes of Hands Down Eugene or Ole Mossy Face.

It should also be noted that A Country Gentleman will be opening for Tristen this Friday at The Basement to celebrate her album release. Nice timing on the new track, eh?
