Short and sweet.. as a teaser should be.
melt – “Everything about me is creepy”
It’s only one track but it’s enough to pique my curiosity for more. Clicked that Bandcamp “Follow” button ASAP.

Ranch Ghost and Humming House get Daytrotter sessions. Loving the Nashville sets!
You Are a Hologram – Green to Grey
It’s been a few years since You Are A Hologram have released any of their electronic infused indie rock songs but they’ve come back strong. For me, there’s a late 90’s college rock nostalgia to their style – energetic rock songs with keyboard flourishes? Yes please.
Wayne Mosh – Contagium
If you lived in Murfreesboro in the early 2000’s you may recall hearing the name Wayne Mosh; the alter-ego of Jason Moore, frontman for The Katies. Well, he’s back with a new EP that’s a perfect exercise in loose and fun-for-the-sake-of-fun.Â
Western Medication – Reflections of the Sun
Jangly Brit-Pop inspired goodness. Honestly didn’t expect this from these guys but I’m enjoying it.

Those Darlins release two new exclusive previews from their forthcoming Blur The Line album.Â
“Western Sky” and “Ain’t Afraid” are available to listen to now. You can also pre-order the record here.
Sewer Rat – Lungs
Call it a side project, call it a goof, or just call it surprisingly entertaining. All seem to be true of this duo of hip-hop-esque tracks from Calicocat released as Sewer Rat. I won’t lie, I’d enjoy more of this.
Chrome Pony – “Burnout” & “Mister Mister”
Two brand new, live, tracks from Chrome Pony now available. Love the building freakout of “Burnout” and straight up rock goodness of “Mister Mister.” Long story short, approved.
Todd A – Stay Together for the Dog
Posting about Todd A is a bit of a stretch in terms of “Nashville only” musicians – as he most definitely resides in California. However, he’s an alumni of so many Nashville bands that it’s worth giving him a pass. Also, the track was recorded at Battle Tapes and features a number of other Nashville musicians – so that makes it count, right? It’s also happens to be an enjoyable listen.
Ascent of Everest – Devil’s Damned To Try OST
If you have a movie with a reference to the King of Hell in the title there is probably no better choice to make your soundtrack than Ascent of Everest. It’s a, understandably, moody undertaking and it will make you want to see the film. Perfect execution!
