Full album preview stream over at Spin.com. Official release is October 15th.. right around the corner.
Birdcloud – Ice Balls
I love that this video seems to document the moment when the band loses their shit completely. Lets hope they start performing in full zombie outfits and dripping blood from this point forward. Absurdity done right.
Tue Mommies – Better Off This Way
What better way to showcase your melancholy pop greatness than with vintage footage showing the pains of motherhood and responsibility. There’s also an R-Rated video for the same song that features a lot less storyline and a lot more  vintage boobies. Pick your poison.
The Ettes – “You Were There”
directed by Jo McCaughey
Holy shit this new video from The Ettes is awesome. Equal parts sexy and sinister. The song is taken from Wicked Will and a just-released 7" on Muddy Roots Records, available here.

Photographer Bradley Spitzer relaunched his portfolio recently and it features some real gems with Natalie Prass and Kurt Wagner.. go check it out.
Maybe you’ve heard it before but it’s worth revisiting. “The Salesman” is the first preview track from Jasmin Kaset
’s forthcoming record, Quiet Machine. Personally, I put it on repeat all damn day.
Private Lives
may be a new band in town but their former bands include the likes of Mom & Dad, The Turtle Bangs, Daykids and loads more. In other words, they’re no strangers to the rock. Currently they are slowly trickling out new tracks from their debut release and, so far, I’m loving what I’m hearing.
Preview two tracks
from the forthcoming Codaphonic split EPÂ Oh Radio / Mindwrecker due this fall on yk records.
Jensen Sportag – Rain Code
Apparently there’s a new Jensen Sportag record coming out on Nov 12th. “Rain Code” is the first trickle of a preview from said album. Curious to hear more.
Mystery Twins – The Politics of Being Alone (EP)
“The Politics of Being Alone” is an EP featuring songs from Mystery Twins debut album “Ghost in The Ground” Available Nov. 5th. It also features public domain audio from Charles Bukowski, Henry Miller, and old movies collaged together in order to create a new document illustrating themes of individuality, society, creativity, and good old fashioned existential angst.
What Up English – Does It Make Me Cruel (Full)
They teased it and now they’ve released it. Pop goodness with just the slightest edge of melancholy. Delicious.
Twiggs – Twiggs
I’m still immersing myself in the full listening experience but I’m fairly confident that readers of this site will enjoy the vibe. Great way to start your week.
