On the whole, FOREVER is bring some solid straight ahead rock mixed with just the right dose of unexpectedly pleasant offbeat instrumentation. A crunchy 8-bit keyboard line mixed with a xylophone solo (â€Love in Tennisâ€) or an alarm-bell guitar line (â€Kismetâ€) are mixed effortless with jangly guitars and driving drums.

Lylas - “Dim Tremorâ€
As today marks the inaugration of Donald Trump as our 45th President, it’s fitting that Peter McCarville and Gezellig Records have released a new compilation entitled Is There Another Language? featuring the likes of Mount Eerie, Surfer Blood, Dean & Britta and Nashville’s very own Lylas.
All proceeds go to benefit the ACLU. You can read more about it here.
A D O R E – Demonstration
For fans of shoegaze-y, space-y rock; spend some time with the demonstration recordings from A D O R E. There’s no vocals, just instrumental tracks that sound like they may be directly inspired by Failure and their ilk.Â
V to Z “Sour Mouthâ€

JOTA ESE – PAID IN STEAK or:Â "I Didn’t Make My Way to the Top of the Food Chain to be a Vegetarian"
In what may be the wordiest album title since Fiona Apple made her mark in 1999, Jota Ese returns with an album of laid back, tripped out hip-hop.Â
Elite Geographic – Computer Creative
I am firm believer that album art is a legitimate tool for enticing new listeners into your music. It certainly sets the stage for the music within and, if compelling enough, can garner completely virgin interest. These are obvious statements.
Such is the case with Elite Geographic’s vaporwave EP, Computer Creative. I knew immediately what to expect and it delivers. It’s a drugged out, ambient soundscape that pulls heavily from the genre’s primary structures.
