(Here’s a post i wrote awhile ago just in case i got lazy and didn’t have anything to post.)
Though WOTT is probably considered a blog, there are alot of people here in Nashville that do it alot better than we do. (i would consider WOTT breaking barriers and blurring the lines between blog, podcasts, and what i do when i’m bored)

here they are:
- Todd-A: You all know him, his blog is considered a “literary blog” (but also covers celebrity’s and breasts) He also runs Nashville Juice
- Nemesisboy: You also know him, but you really don’t. Hands down the funniest shit i’ve ever read on the internet.
- Out The Other: Mp3 blog as well as a show on WRVU.
- Local Music Swag: Covering alot of bands in nashville that i haven’t qute heard. (which just means i’m not friends with them, see WOTT is just like the scene or the rage)
- Bucket City Is Burning: Murfreesboro’s Grand Palace hosts this blog that is centered around new releases and making fun of people both local and otherwise
- Cultiv8: Similar to what the zine was. Local news but also includes music news in general. bands can register and submit shows for listing. (dont you think the scene should do that?)
- Yewknee: you have no idea how many times i’ve found something from michael’s site, then 3 weeks later i’m at a party and someone is all like “dude, did you see that thing…” and i’m all like “yeah, i saw it like 3 weeks again”
- Cable and Tweed: So, not Nashville, Atlanta actually, but Rich highlights Nashville and Murfreesboro Bands probably more often than we do. Lots of good live recording and mp3s available.
- Taytyme: just fuckin’ funny.

ps: this isnt comprehensive. Also it was written about a month ago, which is the shelf life for a blog these days. Feel free to suggest others in the comments (but not your own site, that’s just pathetic and desperate.)

Nice. It should also be noted the Nashville Cream is a good local blog for somewhat scathing, sarcastic commentary. Oh, and it has an incredibly extensive (and impossible to read) sidebar of showlistings.
