Matt Moody is best known for his work as Hands Down Eugene (if you don’t own White Stone / Black Witch you’re missing out) but is too prolific to keep his creations under just one moniker. His latest endeavor is A Country Gentleman and a fifteen track album entitled Pardoned. It’s a free download and I suggest you go grab it; as Matt Moody’s voice has an undeniable appeal, regardless of the musical context.
He’ll be celebrating the release of the album August 8th at The 5 Spot with a rotating cast of musicians from the likes of Hands Down Eugene, Ole Mossy Face, Duraluxe, Good Americans and D. Striker. Sounds like an event worth adding to your calendar.
