I may end up with egg on my face for this one because I’m assuming this band is from Nashville based entirely on their Bandcamp tag stating such but anyone that describes their music as “Created for orgy sex and commune shaving & Bear Cubs” gets a pass from me.
If you’re going to dive into this amalgam of styles – electronic, hypnotic, ramshackle cacophony, drug fueled quest – it’s probably best to start with Pillow Archer, as it is the more legitimate “official” recordings of the two. However, Freak Lessons captures the first recorded sessions from the band and is what I originally encountered from the band so I’m sticking with it as my recommendation.
