I’m not entirely clear on when Murfreesboro band Ribbonpigeon renamed themselves The Only Sons but it’s not important. What is important is that they have released their album, Steel Hearts, for free download. You can nab it here or get a sample of what to expect by downloading “Hadn’t Been That Long” below. It’s a bit folksy, a bit Americana and a bit gravel-y in the vocal department – a winning combo for the genre.
