If you were not aware of it, tomorrow (April 18th, 2009) is National Record Store Day; a day to celebrate the greatness of the physical record store. With the proliferation of digital media becoming more and more standard a coalition of “Brick and Mortar” stores came together to help people remember that going into your local record store is something that should not be taken for granted. Loads of things are going on around town in participation of this national event and there will be a ton of record store day exclusive releases from an overwhelming amount of great artists. So, be sure to get down to some of this stuff and celebrate your local record store.
