Alcohol Policy

BYOB Policy: All 21 year old guests will be able to bring six 12 oz. cans of beer to Rites of Spring each day. Coolers are allowed. Guests can combine their beers in one cooler if they enter together. No one is allowed to bring more than 12 beers together…

Intoxicated persons will not be allowed to enter the event. All persons under 21 found drinking will be required to get rid of their beer. They will be removed from the venue if they do not comply.

”It still amazes me when I turn on college radio,” says Jason Ringenberg, Nashville singer-songwriter and leader of seminal country-punk band Jason and the Scorchers. ”Man, you just never know what you’re gonna hear next. It’s so unpredictable, and sometimes it just makes no sense whatsoever except to that DJ who’s playing it — how they could go from some jazz-fusion thing to some indie-punk band and then into some sort of psycho-bluegrass in one 10-minute section.”
