In an attempt to make We Own This Town a bit more relevant of a stop in your weekly browsings I am making the official request for people to start submitting local news. Anything you think anyone may be interested in hearing, please let us know. There are a lot of things happening around town and, quite unfortunately, there’s not a central spot for all that information. Personally, I’d like to see WOTT become just that.

So, if your band is playing a show and you think it should be listed here – let us know. If your band (or friends band) is releasing an LP, EP, CD, 12″, etc. – let us know. If you hear interesting (but not slanderous rumor) insights about local bands – let us know.

Some quick news:

• Jason Dietz is now playing bass with Forget Cassettes
• SJ & The Props just released the Tragedy EP but we can’t seem to find a tracklisting or cover art anywhere online.
• Save Macaulay is now on Theory 8 Records and is recording an album with Battletapes and Joel Dahl
• The Nobility will release their album The Mezzanine on July 31st (complete with Grimeys instore)
