What’s the news about town? Here’s a rundown of the latest rumblings I’ve been privy to, please let us know if you’ve heard anything else:

• Hotpipes released Future Bolt and it’s a fine piece of work.
• Apollo Up! will be releasing a new EP via Grand Palace sometime this summer. The first track from the Walking Papers EP can be previewed on their MySpace page.
• Millionaire Magicians apparently got some nation satellite radio play with their track “Tribute to Machines” – listen to it here. No information regarding available, downloadable / purchase-able music could be found.
• Forget Cassettes is on hiatus and will now be known as Elizabeth Grace – different form, slightly different musical approach. In the meantime, FC is having a liquidation sale on their site – $30 gift pack with all their goods included at once.
• De Novo Dahl released their full-length Move Every Muscle, Make Every Sound and will be playing Lollapalooza this year.
• Theory 8 released the Caitlin Rose Dead Flowers EP; available at fine retailers everywhere.
• Aaron Robinson released an album entitled We Are Racing Ghosts that is available now.
• Umbrella Tree released The Church and The Hospital – available at Grimeys.

Obviously that’s just the tip of the iceberg but I’ve been a bit out of the loop lately. What else has been going on? Who is Battletapes recording these days? Any other upcoming releases on the horizon worthy of note?
