As Next Big Nashville approaches a few things should be pointed out in preparation.

Thanks to a heads up from the Nashville Cream you now have the opportunity to download, for free, the entire EP from Vovô. The band is comprised of Mark Bond and Rollum Haas – better known for their work with The Features. The 5-track EP features lots of local stalwarts – including Sam Ashworth, Jon Rogers (Hotpipes) and Luke Schneider (numerous bands). And it’s free – so go get it.

Ocelots have announced that they will be releasing their next album, The Cellar and the Ghost Have Let Us Down, via Grand Palace on October 7th, 2008.
