Now Again Records has a great post up from Egon of Stones Throw Records regarding his time spent crate digging in Nashville – specifically at the Lawrence Brothers Record Store. Apparently there are loads of hidden vinyl gems stored in Employee Only portions of the store.

Chances are if you’ve been listening to local music for any amount of time you know who David Dewese is. He’s been part-time / full-time member of The Luxury Liners, Foxymorons, The Nobility and probably loads more I’m not aware of. Long story short, he’s releasing a solo album entitled Make the Best of It (details here) and will be playing a release show at Bongo Java (upstairs) on October 30th (details here). It’s a collection of feel good pop songs but that’s hardly a derogatory statement.
