Daniel Lucca Pojol

Speaking of young Daniel from Meemaw, his first solo effort will come in the form split cassette release via Infinity Cat. While the wide-eyed and excitable simplicity he and the his Meemaw cronies exude is fortunately intact, this pair of tunes are a definite departure in sound. Synths, handclaps, tambourines and weird little loops & samples serve to soften his punk rock tendencies, bringing his pop melodies front and center. Lake Fever Sessions Launch

Lake Fever and Tugboat Productions have teamed up to create the freshly launched Lake Fever Sessions – a new ongoing series of in-studio performances showcasing local and national acts. They picked The Privates to set the proverbial ship out to sea and it couldn’t have turned out better. The session features three songs from the band (one being their cover of Paramore’s “Misery Business”) and a little insight on each from Dave Paulson himself.

While a high quality recording of The Privates, both audio and video, is certainly a treat unto itself the promise of ongoing Lake Fever Sessions is absolutely something to look forward to.
