Seth Graves (aka Casio Casanova aka Tigers con Queso aka Home Keys) put together a nice video feature on East Nashville’s record store, The Groove. I suggest checking it out and then making a stop to check things out. Surely Nashville can support two great independently owned record stores, right?
Good looking out via The Cream.

Speaking of young Daniel from Meemaw, his first solo effort will come in the form split cassette release via Infinity Cat. While the wide-eyed and excitable simplicity he and the his Meemaw cronies exude is fortunately intact, this pair of tunes are a definite departure in sound. Synths, handclaps, tambourines and weird little loops & samples serve to soften his punk rock tendencies, bringing his pop melodies front and center. Download “Jimmie Rogers” below and hear for yourself.
