Hands Down Eugene – Vinyl release party for White Stone & Black Witch
D.Striker
The Ants (from Lawrence, KS)
The 5 Spot – 9pm
This may be our most pertinently timed podcast to date. The majority of artists featured here either have releases coming out very soon or just released something quite recently. Those that don’t fall into those two categories, well they’re quality songs as well. Enjoy the music, seems like Nashville has really been amping up the release output as of late and we’re enjoying trying to keep up.

Hands Down Eugene will officially release their double album White Stone / Black Witch this Friday the 13th with a show at The 5 Spot (along with D. Striker, natch). The vinyl is limited in numbers so it’d be wise to get one sooner rather than later.

Despite the physical version not being released until April 6th, Pico vs. Island Trees have gone ahead and made their new EP, Futura, available on iTunes. You can get it here or preview some tracks over at their MySpace.
Millionare Magicians were kind enough to send us the details on their forthcoming self-titled release. The self-titled album will be available starting March 20th and the band will celebrate the release with The Carter Administration and Altered Statesman at The Family Wash that same night to ring in the occasion.
