On April 3rd, 2009 everyone involved in the Lake Fever Sessions project is extremely pleased to present a spectacular in-studio performance from Superdrag. Their new album, Industry Giants, is available in CD or digital format.. so you may want to get familiar with the songs for a proper sing along when the session is released in full next week.

Received a press release today regarding Those Darlins and their upcoming release. The self-titled album is set for a July 7th shelf date via Oh Wow Dang Records. We’ve got the tracklisting details here if you’re interested but the official cover art is being held under wraps for a moment. Last week we received word that Glossary had finished recording their followup to Better Angels of Our Nature and are eyeing a September 2009 release on Liberty & Lament. The album, entitled Feral Fire, was recorded in Denton, TX with the bands compadre Matt Pence. While I’ve no doubt that it will be even better than the last album (hard to believe) I am curious if they’ll pursue the Free Download route again.. only time will tell.

There’s also word floating around that frontman Joey Kneiser will be recording a solo album with more Murfreesboro alumni than you can shake a stick at. Find out more details by attending his free show at Liquid Smoke (in M’boro) this Friday.
