Next Tuesday we continue our series of We Own This Town Tuesday nights at Mercy Lounge. This upcoming Tuesday, 6/23, we’ll have Mean Tambourines, Cactus’s and Bad Cop. Last week, after a twelve and a half hour work day, I ended up bailing on the St. Vincent show at Mercy Lounge due to exhaustion and lack of familiarity with her work. I made the mistake of twittering about this and loads of people replied to me that I was a fool for not sticking around to catch the brilliance of Annie Clark. Fortunately, Lake Fever Sessions put together this session earlier that afternoon so I’m able to experience what I was missing out on to some degree.
