Turbo Fruits will be releasing their new album Echo Kid on September 29th via Fat Possum. You can download a free sampler of the album right here to hold you over until the end of the month and you’ll be rewarded with “International Language of Love” – a track that does not appear on the final album.

One thing that I’ve always enjoyed about The Carter Administration is that whenever they play you get a sense that they don’t really care if you’re there or not. That’s not to say that they don’t appreciate your attendance or attention but they are having a great time just playing music together, the fact that there’s an audience is just a bonus. Their Lake Fever Session is much the same (particularly with all the great banter); you can tell they are just enjoying themselves. This is an attribute that more bands need to take note of as it makes the whole experience better for everyone. Oh yea, and they craft a damn fine pop-rock song too.

New video Tristen featuring members of Non-Commissioned Officers, And The Relatives and Eureka Gold (though there’s some overlap there) and a lot of death. Likely inspired by CLUE but I mean that in a nice way.
