Milktooth have unveiled the video for their song “Your Arrows” over on the YouTubes. The video was directed by Dune Baydoun and features live footage from their 7″ release show over Halloween, some ghoulish b-roll and a peppering of vintage Felix the Cat & Popeye cartoons. To describe it, you wouldn’t think it works as well as it does.. but it works quite well. Watch it.
And if you’re into the track, you snag it for free over on their Bandcamp page.

Zeitgeist Gallery in Nashville presents New York-based artists Tristan Perich and Lesley Flanigan, joined by Austin-based Travis Weller. Perich’s duet “Dual Synthesis” (for harpsichord and 1-bit electronics) and Flanigan’s “Amplifications” (for voice and speaker electronics) explore the viscerality of electronic music. Mixing primitive sounds from their own hand- constructed instruments with the harpsichord and voice, each choreographs intersections between acoustic and electric sound. Travis Weller performs on his own hand-built high tension string instruments.

Matthew Pusti makes music. Usually he does so under the moniker Makeup and Vanity Set but, apparently, he occasionally he has creations released under the moniker DAAS. One such release is the free download RALSP, ready for procurement right here. It’s a nice mix of ambient soundscapes mixed with the occasional breakneck speed glitchy beat. To hear me describe it does not sound appealing but that’s just a lack of proper vocabulary on my part.. judge for yourself. Go download it. How could you not be interested in a track called “Grandpa’s Hands”??
