I’ll be honest. I miss The Privates. They were, easily, one of the best bands in town and they seemed to be committed to not being a band anymore. Principal member Dave Paulson has a long list of projects he’s been involved with since then – including quite a few remixes as DPAUL – but I missed his form of pop-rock. Fortunately, it seems like Norm may fill that void. Quality songs with its own unique flavor thanks to Paulson’s vocal style and top-notch songwriting. Granted, the EP is only 10 minutes long but you take what you can get!
