Dreamers of the Ghetto

Bloomington, Indiana-based quartet Dreamers Of The Ghetto have barely played outside their hometown but they’re already getting tons of notice. They’ve opened for Superchunk and Flaming Lips and are signed to indie label Temporary Residence. Their debut album hits stores on October 4th and they are embarking on an in-store tour of indie record stores. They’ll hit Grimey’s on Oct. 7, just a few days after their album drops.

Superdrag bassist and honorary Senator Tom Pappas has a brand new 7″ coming out by his other band Flesh Vehicle. It’s an EP called “The Set Free EP” and the band will be tearing the roof off our record store in celebration of its release. Joining Sen. Pappas are Jeremy Asbrock on bass and vocals and Steve Latanation on the drums and vox. Tom rips the guitar in this band, bro. Expect a jaw-dropping sweat fest.
