I realize we have written a great deal about Birdcloud in their short time but their latest video, for “Springwater“, completes their goal of making a video for every song on their album. Personally, I’ve heard many bands claim that they’re going to take on this goal but few ever actually succeed. So, consider it a lesson in marketing – keep putting videos out there and that’s just all the more material for someone to write about and spread the good word (this assumes that your band is, at the very least, entertaining in some way).

Ryman App Now Available

The Ryman recently announced the launch of their iPhone / Android app. You can snag it here. The app itself consists of a show calendar, ticket purchasing, a Hatch Show print gallery and the opportunity to sign up for exclusive content & notices. All and all, maybe not something you’re going to engage with on a daily basis but if it provides the ability to procure seats to a particularly popular show it would be worth having handy.
