If we’re being honest (and why wouldn’t we be?), I find the vocal stylings of Vinyl Thief to be a bit much for my taste. There’s an earnestness (and occasional falsetto) to it that just cuts me the wrong way. However, the music behind the vocals is certainly worth taking note of and my opinion is just that, a subjective take. They’ve got a lot of good keyboard sounds going, enjoyable amounts of energy and are pounding the pavement in terms of promotion in an admirable way. Give it a spin and see what you think.
