I’ve been reading a bunch of tidbits from The Cream about Reid Magette and The 1020s but haven’t fully immersed myself in the experience until today – streaming the entirety of Shrine of Youth from Sturdy Girls Records. I’ll let my opinion percolate for awhile but if you haven’t heard the full six tracks yet I suggest steering over there and checking it out.

It’s good to know that engaging works of ambient music can emerge from Nashville. The latest from noir test, Music for Rilee, Vol 2, is a confirmation that Nashville has some of the most talented musicians creating music in the widest variety of styles. Personally, I love it. Go get it.
