By stumbling upon Tropical Punk yesterday I unearthed two fantastic new finds. First, the band itself and their latest EP, Runaway American Kids, and their prior LP released this year Ends of the World (still wading through all the material, I’m sure the even earlier stuff is good too). Secondly, the band’s label Denim Records seems to be up to all sorts of good things – including plenty of videos to watch and a blog to follow.

The EP is jangly, proper rock steeped in classic influences but still feeling fresh. I’m embarrassed that I’m just now hearing about it.
