Jordan Caress is a talented lady. She’s done time backing up Caitlin Rose, hit the road for long stretches with Tristen and proved her vocal diversity chops with My So Called Band many times over. So, it’s great to see that her solo outfit – Ponychase – has officially released their first EP. They even put it out as a 10″ – who does that anymore? It’s a synth-y, drum machine, melancholy and forelorn bit of pop undertaking. It gets you moving but breaks your heart at the same time.

Sound Bites – “Diarrhea Planet”
It may be their debut episode but “Sound Bites” is starting things off right with this profile of Diarrhea Planet. Hearing the band describe their setup, sound and genre (“Arena Punk”) is a rather enjoyable and enlightening time.
