Holly Williams

HOLLY WILLIAMS – Saturday, February 2nd @ 3PM
Holly Williams is an acclaimed singer-songwriter who just happens to also be the granddaughter of Country music legend Hank Williams. She’s never tried to live up to the legacy of her grandfather or father, Hank Jr. Nor has she spent a lot of time trying to live it down. The respect that Holly has garnered as an artist over the course of many years spent building an international fan base, and the release of two acclaimed albums, 2004’s “The Ones We Never Knew” and 2009’s “Here With Me”, has come on her own terms, based on her own sound. Billboard said of her 2009 release, “it’s one of the best singer/songwriter albums to come out of Nashville.” Holly is ready to release her latest, “The Highway” on Feb. 5 but we’ve got her for a free, all ages in-store performance this Saturday so not only can you see this acclaimed artist for free but you can buy her new album early!

Blue Sky Riders (Kenny Loggins / Gary Burr)

BLUE SKY RIDERS – Thursday, January 31st @ 6PM
Blue Sky Riders is a new project featuring Kenny Loggins (one of the most well-known voices in modern popular music), Gary Burr (one of Nashville’s most successful songwriters and member of Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame) and singer/songwriter Georgia Middleman. Upon meeting Burr, Loggins said “when we sang together, we sounded like brothers. The last time I experienced that kind of blend was with Jimmy Messina in 1971.” When they wanted a 3rd harmony singer in the blend, Burr suggested Middleman and Blue Sky Riders was a reality. Their debut album “Finally Home” is out January 29th and we’ll have Kenny, Gary & Georgia playing here at Grimey’s just 2 days later.
