I am quite biased* when it comes to this one but I think these two songs from Tipper Whore are primed and ready to be your summer anthems. I mean, who wouldn’t want to group together and sing “Day Drunk” with a bunch of buddies? And the sexual innuendo is laid on so thick with “Two Sticks” that you just can’t help but enjoy it. The vinyl version out turned quite well too.

Undoubtedly, yesterday you heard about the passing of Nashville staple Ben Todd. I did not know the man beyond a few cursory interactions but have always had massive respect for everything he was involved in. Nashville’s Dead, Freakin’ Weekend and D Watusi just to name a few were all such massive successful undertakings.

To say his passing is a tragic loss for the city is an understatement of the largest degree.
