The fact that the cover art of 7.25.2148 depicts an isolated lonely road is a great indication of what you’re getting into. This is one of MAVS more dark soundscapes with just a tiny light at the end of the tunnel with the end tracking “Praxis.” I guess we just need to wait 135 years to find out exactly what movie picks this up as a soundtrack – it’s going to be a spooky one.

NASHVILLE, TN – Hollis Hampton-Jones to Perform Novel Comes The Night With Musical Accompaniment by Ryan Norris of Lambchop
Hollis Hampton-Jones, author of Vicious Spring and Comes the Night (Penguin Books) will perform her musical collaboration with Ryan Norris of Nashville band Lambchop March 28th at the newly opened Howlin’ Books.
This one-off audio experiment, conceived by Hampton-Jones, Ryan Norris of Lambchop, and producer Roger Moutenot (Yo La Tengo, Lou Reed), was released on 10″ Vinyl by British publisher Hamish Hamilton. The limited run of 300 copies is currently only available at Rough Trade East in London, Shakespeare & Company in Paris, and Dialogue Books in Berlin. 15 copies will be on hand at the reading, marking the first time they will be available stateside.
The performance will be followed by a Q&A and book/record signing.
