Very happy to debut the official video for “Isn’t Anything”, a personal favorite track from Anchor Thieves latest full-length, Monolith. The video compiles a series of timelapse videos depicting a day-in-the-life of the band; coffee, drive, work, wait for night, drive, play rock music.  It may not sound like much of anything but I think that’s exactly the point. 

It’s a great song from a extremely solid album. Let this be your entry point into hearing the whole thing on a regular basis.

Great new video from Tower Defense for “Glyphs” – off of their Stay Inside EP. It’s a lyric video with a twist. That twist is the potentially incoherent babblings of a band gone mad. Or maybe just some hilarious filler text. You decide.

Take a moment out of your busy day to listen to The By Gods cover The Pixies “Cactus” (from Surfer Rosa). I won’t lie, I’d enjoy an entire set of Pixies covers from these guys.

Did you know Birdcloud was on Doug Benson’s show last night? Well, they were and it was a little bit contentious and a whole lot entertaining. Scrub through to see them perform a perfect version of “Saving Myself for Jesus”

Really enjoyed this Alex Karpovsky / Teddy Blanks short film, largely because of the music provided by Natalie Prass. Oh, and she acts in it too… bonus!
