GAY VIBES “W E M E L T” (ft. Leticia Wolf)

I’ve been a big fan of GAY VIBES since their first EP and this latest single is a phenomenal progression in sound. It maintains the same engaging beats and laissez faire mood but with better production. I dare say it’s even more accessible without being watered down.

Looking forward to the full EP, RIP SUMMER, coming this fall.

Wildfront “Strange Gold”

We previously mentioned “Sinking Moon” from Wildfront as a quality progression in their sound; headed more towards shoegazing bedroom pop. “Strange Gold” continues that evolution with this beautiful video to boot. If you enjoy Beach House, this will be right up your alley.

And to keep things even more relevant, they recently posted “Song to the Siren” for your ears to enjoy.

PANGS “WASTER”

I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not but PANGS is all over the place lately. Recently they released their cover of “Cannonball” and they’ve quickly followed it with two new songs, both at opposite ends of the spectrum. WASTER is an instrumental trap song and “Home on the Range” is breezy, bedroom pop cover of the classic traditional tune.

All Them Witches – Live in Brussels

Get your fix on the wall-of-sound that is All Them Witches with their latest recording from Brussels. If history has taught us anything, this won’t be up for too long, so nab it quick.

BRiLeY – the search

Total honesty policy, I don’t have the musical language to speak about the merits of a largely instrumental hip-hop album. What I can say, is that I like what I’m hearing and have blasted the album on repeat multiple times. That’s gotta stand for something.

Bravemaker “Love the Dawn”

Really been enjoying the consistent stream of new singles coming from the Bravemaker camp. The latest, “Love the Dawn”, is no exception. Excellent low-key indie rock that turns quite rambunctious.

Dan Burns – Rainbow Cannons

It’s a real treat to see that Dan Burns – one half of Action!, the occasional drummer for R. Stevie Moore and a whole host of collaborations – has released Rainbow Cannons on Soundcloud for all to enjoy. It’s an electronic affair that weaves between the outright dancey and more ambient Gaze genres. I think “King of West Bay” might be my personal favorite but further listening is required.
