If I could pinpoint what it was that it’s so damn charming about this song, I would. But I can’t! I think it was the ridiculously perfect artist description that drew me in and then the song itself is obviously someone enjoying themselves, a quality often lost in hip-hop.

Coley Hinson plays bass for Evan P Donohue and guitar for Twiggs – so he’s no stranger to the rock scene around town. He’s recently released his first solo endeavor – Poor Coley’s Almanac – an enjoyable EP of rolling songs with a bit of influence from all over.Â
I can’t say I fully understand this glitchy, electronic,  undertaking but  I can appreciate it for the madness that it is. If you need convincing, start with “Man We Had a Blast” and then ease into “Magoo’s Basement Fantasy.” Good luck.
