The fifth release from Magic In Threes has them continuing to move away from being a purely instrumental band but fully embracing their soulful and R&B roots with the addition of guest singers like DeRobert  and Tujarzz. It’s just two songs but it’s a smooth way to start your day.

I have been a bad fan. I saw that there was a new EP from Penicillin Baby and I didn’t fully indulge until recently. This is only a problem because the five songs are phenomenal – particularly the ending track “Working Man.†Consider it heavy rotation for the remainder of the year.
