Really been enjoying the consistent stream of new singles coming from the Bravemaker camp. The latest, “Love the Dawn”, is no exception. Excellent low-key indie rock that turns quite rambunctious.

It’s only two tracks but these performances from WOTT staple, Ole Mossy Face, properly capture their emotive force. They’re slow songs but they’re excellent companions for your heat-drenched front porch hangouts.

You’ll have to wait until October until the new Goth Babe EP, Shall We, is fully released but you can get a taste of the shoegaze-y goodness by listening to “Dazed” now.

If you go back and listen to the original creations from PANGS, it makes 100% total sense that they’d record a damn fine rendition of this Breeders classic.

I love a good heavy-metal-space-rock concept album. Lots of soaring vocals here and big riffs. Oh, and space wizards and guitar solos for days. I’m already looking forward to part 2.

I saw El El in Mike Birbiglia new movie, Don’t Think Twice, and was pleasantly surprised to see Nashville representing in such a fine movie.  Speaking of pleasant surprises, enjoy the latest from El El – off their forthcoming Mom+Pop release GEODE, due October 21st.
