Last Friday, Benjamin A. Harper released his latest solo effort, Get Thee Behind Me. The undertaking is a lush one – filled with harmonies, a wide arrangement of styles and something a little special in each song that pops out the more you listen (i.e. that vocal stutter in “Leave This Place Aloneâ€)
The output of Mr Harper has always been enjoyable but this really boosts him into a new level. Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself but I’d put this into Best Of 2015, it grabs me just that much.
