Coming up this weekend – August 19th – 20th – is the first DEFY Film Festival, a collection of shorts and features that looks to “celebrate the film, not the genre.†57 Films in two days is a lot of films but the lineup looks great and I’m happy to see the film world thriving in Nashville.
